March 2023 WSD themed ‘Making A Wish’ marks the start of our series of exciting WSD performances that embodies our hope for greater appreciation of the local music scene. Beyond that, this event invites string players to come together to spread the vibrancy of strings through the 3 pieces- Through the Years, You've Got a Friend, Mr. Blue Sky- creating a lively environment for everyone to enjoy.
Through this fun-filled event, you will be able to meet like-minded peers, make new friends, experience playing together in a grand public performance, and learn new songs. Beyond that, this event serves to revitalise the lesser-used spaces as part of the business improvement district project.
Can I Join?
We welcome all violin, viola and cello players of all skill levels as background (above 6 years old) to perform together.
Where do we play?
The performance will be held at the iconic “Link bridge between Marina Square - Millenia Walk” that ties in with the magical theme of 'Making A Wish'.
What do I get?
You will get the Song Scores, a WSD t-shirt (New Sign Up), a Group Photo, and a WSD Participation Certificate.
